Rubber Lagging Head Bend Tail Snub Drive Drum Conveyor Pulley

The pulley/drum is the main components that transmit the power. It is divided into three types according to their load-carrying capacity: light, medium and heavy.

Light: Bearing aperture 80-100mm, the shaft and hub are single-width plate welded cylinder structure connected by single key.

Medium: Bearing aperture 120-180mm, the shaft and hub are expansion sleeve connection.

Heavy: Bearing aperture 200-220mm, the shaft and hub are expansion sleeve connection, and the drum body is cast-welded structure.

Different types of pulleys have distinct functional divisions, jointly ensuring the stable operation of conveyor belts. Their main categories and functions are as follows:
Drive/Head Pulley - A conveyor pulley used to drive a conveyor belt. It is typically mounted in external bearings and powered by an external drive source.
Return/Tail Pulley - A conveyor pulley designed to redirect a conveyor belt back to the drive pulley. Tail pulleys can adopt internal bearings or be mounted in external bearings, and are generally arranged at the end of the conveyor frame. For short-length conveyors, tail pulleys often also serve as take-up pulleys.
Snub Pulley - A conveyor pulley that increases the belt wrap angle around the drive pulley, mainly for the purpose of enhancing transmission traction.
Take-Up Pulley - A conveyor pulley used to eliminate belt slack and provide tension to the conveyor belt. It is more commonly applied in long-length conveyors.
Bend Pulley - A conveyor pulley that redirects the belt and provides belt tension at the bending sections of the conveyor system.
